Texas DPS Credit Union Announces Jennifer Everett’s Promotion to Director of Human Resources

by | Oct 13, 2026 | News

Texas DPS Credit Union is pleased to announce the promotion of Jennifer Everett to Director of Human Resources, expanding her leadership role as the credit union continues investing in its employees, workplace culture, and organizational growth.

As Director of Human Resources, Everett will lead the credit union’s human resources department, including talent management, employee relations, performance and development, compensation, compliance, and HR operations. She will also partner with executive leadership to strengthen the employee experience and support the organization’s continued growth.

Everett returned to Texas DPS Credit Union in January 2026 as Human Resources Manager and has made a significant impact in a short amount of time. Since returning, she has helped strengthen recruiting and onboarding, support employee engagement, and introduce greater structure and consistency across HR practices.

“Jennifer has become an important resource for our team, and her positive attitude, strong work ethic, and genuine care for our credit union and its people shine through in everything she does,” said President and CEO Monique Quarrells. “She understands that our people are essential to our success, and she has shown a real commitment to making sure our employees and leaders have the support they need. I’m excited to see her continue building on that foundation in this expanded leadership role.”

Everett brings more than 15 years of credit union experience to the position, with a background spanning member service, branch leadership, operations, and human resources. She first joined Texas DPS Credit Union in 2021 before returning in 2026.

That experience has shaped Everett’s people-focused approach to human resources and her commitment to building practices that support both employees and the organization.

“I believe that behind every process, every policy, and every conversation is a person,” Everett said. “I want to continue to build structure, consistency, and accountability so that we are doing what is right for our employees and what is right for our credit union and members.”

Everett’s promotion reflects Texas DPS Credit Union’s continued commitment to investing in its people and developing strong leaders as the organization grows.
