4th Annual TXDPSCU Member Appreciation Day set for October 19, 2023

On October 19, 2023, Texas DPS Credit Union (TXDPSCU) will host our 4th Annual Member Appreciation Day to share our appreciation to our members. Without you we wouldn’t exist, so it’s time to celebrate YOU!

TXDPSCU invites both members and nonmembers to visit us at the credit union on 621 W. St. Johns Ave. in Austin, TX to celebrate this day. We’ll be sharing our rich history with the Texas Department of Public Safety and highlighting member stories, accompanied by some great food and activities throughout the day. And if you can’t join us in person, you’ll be able to participate virtually by following us on Facebook.

“There is nothing we enjoy more than giving back to our members and the community,” says Cassy Sass, Texas DPS Credit Union President/CEO. “YOU are our purpose, and we would love to spend the day with you. And what better day to do this than on the same day we celebrate the credit union industry for the 75th Annual International Credit Union Day. The credit union motto is people helping people, and TXPDSCU is proud to be a part of a cooperative movement driven by providing financial well-being for all and one that values people over profits. We hope you can stop by and see us as we celebrate this great movement!”

We’ll provide lunch from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm but stop by anytime from 11:30 am – 2:30 pm for goodie bags, games, and entertainment. You’ll also be able to enter to win some great prizes both in person and virtually.

October 19, 2023 also marks the 75th anniversary of International Credit Union (ICU) Day^®. TXDPSCU joins over 56,000 credit unions around the world to celebrate.

ICU Day highlights the many ways that credit unions across the world help members work towards achieving their financial goals. And there’s nothing more fitting than to host our 4^th Annual Member Appreciation Day on this day to share our appreciation to our members. Without you we wouldn’t exist, so it’s time to celebrate YOU!

Credit unions were built on the principle of “people helping people.” We’ve seen that philosophy in action for more than 100 years, with credit unions providing access to affordable financial products and striving to meet the needs of underserved communities. TXDPSCU is honored to be a part of this proud tradition.
