Member Appreciation Day Celebrated on International Credit Union Day

October 20, 2022, marks the 74th anniversary of International Credit Union Day (ICU Day). This year’s ICU Day theme is “Empower Your Financial Future with a Credit Union,” which shines a spotlight on the work credit unions do to help members achieve financial well-being.

ICU Day is a great day to share our appreciation to the members who make up the Texas DPS Credit Union (TXDPSCU) family! So, we will host our 3rd annual Member Appreciation Day on October 20th at the credit union.

Globally, credit unions will be celebrating the success of the credit union movement and collaborating to raise awareness of its “People-not-Profit” philosophy. Financial well-being for all is the cornerstone of the movement and throughout their history, credit unions have helped empower its members to attain their financial goals.

Join us on Oct. 20 as we celebrate the accomplishments of the credit union industry, as well as show our appreciation to YOU, our members. The event will be hosted from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. at the credit union on 621 W. St. Johns Ave. in Austin, TX, and virtually on the TXDPSCU Facebook page.

We’ll provide lunch from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. but stop by anytime from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. for goodie bags, games, and entertainment. You’ll also be able to enter to win some great prizes both in person and virtually.
