Do I need to sign up for the sweepstakes?
No. Just use your TXDPSCU debit card from now until December 20, and eligible purchases* will count toward your entries.
How do I earn entries?
Every 5 qualifying debit card purchases* earns you one entry into the sweepstakes.
Do my entries carry over from week to week?
No, entries do not carry over from one weekly drawing to the next. However, all eligible entries earned throughout the promotion period will automatically be included in the Grand Prize Drawing.
What counts as a qualifying debit card purchase?
A “Qualifying Transaction” means an eligible purchase made using a TXDPSCU debit card that posts to the member’s account during the applicable Weekly Period. ATM transactions, cash withdrawals or advances, balance transfers, person-to-person payments, returned or reversed transactions, fraudulent transactions, fees, and other transactions do not qualify. A transaction is assigned to the Weekly Period in which it posts, regardless of the date it was initiated.
How will I know if I win?
Potential winners will be selected through random drawings and notified by phone and/or email within five (5) business days after the applicable drawing. Winners may need to verify eligibility and complete required documentation. If a potential winner cannot be reached within seven (7) calendar days, is ineligible, or does not complete documentation within ten (10) calendar days, an alternate winner may be selected. How many prizes can I win?
Each eligible member can win a maximum of one $250 weekly prize during the promotion period. Weekly winners are still eligible for the $1,000 Grand Prize Drawing.

Open to eligible Texas DPS Credit Union members age 18 or older who are legal U.S. residents. Promotion runs October 26–December 20, 2026. Earn one entry per five qualifying debit card purchases or enter without purchase by mail. Limit ten entries per person per week across all entry methods. Eight $250 weekly prizes and one $1,000 grand prize; total prize value $3,000. Limit one weekly prize per household; weekly winners remain eligible for the grand prize. Odds depend on eligible entries received for each drawing. Drawings and prize deposits occur after applicable entry periods.
