GAP Insurance Open Enrollment
We are pleased to announce that open enrollment is again available for Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP). You can now add this important protection at any time during the life of your auto loan. The cost for GAP Insurance with Texas DPS Credit Union is only $195 for autos and $200 for motorcycles.
Accidents happen, unfortunately. If your vehicle is totaled and your regular car insurance policy does not pay 100% of what you owe, you are still responsible for the balance left on your auto loan. If you have GAP Insurance on your loan, GAP will pay off that balance for you.
If you have an auto loan with Texas DPS Credit Union, call the loan department and speak to one of our friendly loan staff. We will be glad to add GAP Insurance to your loan balance so you may enjoy greater financial security and protection, knowing you will not be left owing a balance on your loan should you have an unfortunate mishap.
