To be eligible for a Share Draft/Checking Account you must have the minimum membership requirement of $10 in a Share/Savings Account with Texas DPS Credit Union.  When opening a checking account, an initial $50 deposit into that new checking account will be required but there is not a minimum balance or deposit amount required to maintain the account thereafter.

National Network of Service Centers	Whether in Austin, somewhere in Texas, or anywhere else in the United States, Texas DPS Credit Union is a part of a National Network of Service Centers that allows you to conduct a list of transactions at any of the participating credit unions convenient to you.  You can make deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfer money between accounts, purchase money orders or travelers cheques, and more at any of the participating credit unions!  All you need when you enter a shared branch is your home credit union's name, your account number, and a government issued photo identification, such as a driver's license. * To receive Bill Pay for free the following requirements must be met:
   (Note:  The following requirements are all FREE services:)
       1) Sign up for eStatements
       2) Set up Direct Deposit
       3) Make three (3) debit card "signature based" transactions per month
           (Use Debit Card as "credit" and not debit at least 3x's per month)

If you prefer not to maintain the free services mentioned above, you may sign up for bill pay at our low rate of $2/month.
In the event a member’s Bill Pay Service becomes inactive, the service will be turned off until the member contacts the credit union to reactivate the service again.  Bill Pay is subject to approval.
